Children's privacy
Effective and last updated: 1 November 2026. KUDIMI Studios, New Delhi, India.
For children
Hello! We are glad you like Kudimi, Chiku and Tara.
Here are our rules, and we keep them:
- We will never ask you for your name, your age, your school, your address, your photo or your voice.
- You do not need to make an account or log in to watch our songs or colour our pictures.
- Nobody can leave comments on our videos, so nobody can talk to you there.
- We will never ask you to buy anything or click anything.
If you want to tell us something, please ask a grown-up who looks after you to write to us. They know how.
For parents and caregivers
KUDIMI Studios makes songs, stories and books for children. We have designed everything we run so that we never need information about a child.
On this website there are no accounts, forms addressed to children, comments, chats, contests or uploads. Our one optional sign-up, a monthly newsletter, is for adults only and asks for an email address and nothing else. Page views are counted without cookies. Videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed, which does not personalise anything until someone presses play. The hosting provider processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site securely; we do not use it to profile children or for advertising.
On YouTube every KUDIMI video is declared Made for Kids, which turns off personalised ads and comments. We do not place links or prompts in our videos that ask children to visit a site, buy a product or share information.
On Instagram (when it launches) our account is addressed to parents and caregivers. Instagram requires users to be 13 or older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA, United States), under 18 (India's DPDP Act and Rules), or from children as defined by the UK Age Appropriate Design Code. We treat all three as the standard everywhere we operate.
If a child sends us information anyway
Children sometimes write to studios they like. If a child sends us identifying information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it unless the law requires us to keep it, and we will not use it for any other purpose. When you report such a case, please do not forward additional identifying material.
Making a parental request
A parent or legal guardian can ask us:
- what information, if any, we have received from their child;
- to review it or delete it;
- to stop any further collection or use.
Email [email protected] with "Parent privacy request" in the subject line, a short description of the concern and the approximate date of contact. We may take proportionate steps to confirm that you are the child's parent or guardian, and we will explain any limits that apply. We aim to answer within 30 days.
Future features
Any future product or feature that would collect information from children (for example an app, a game or a contest) will go through a separate privacy and legal review, including parental notice and verifiable parental consent where required, before it launches. We will announce it on this page first.
